It can.
But you've gotta set up a wildcard DNS entry and then redirect it to the proper folder.
You have to use ServerAlias in your httpd.conf.

Re: Default Mods
Because: First, people may not want them. Second, imagine they stop being supported. Uninstalling is not an option because your users will go berserk. Third, those mods may contain security issues. It is irresponsible to include such a feature in a professional script. It's the same like asking the ...

Re: Optional portal
That would be irresponsible.
Echo offers a forum hosting script, not a portal script which would mean another product that requires maintenance and could cause loss of focus on the main product.

Re: Support for PLESK?
When using Plesk, keep in mind several things. The script has some troubles with detecting the real numbers of forums hosted on a certain database. Besides, Plesk has some troubles with the database management because it allows you to have only one database per user and echoPHP doesn't support multi...

Re: Error @Trial Installation
The phpbb part isn't encoded so the script allows you to mod pretty much anything you need and if you can't, you can submit a ticket and you'll always get a friendly answer and echo in most of the cases will do the work for you :) The community isn't very active but a few individuals are around quit...

The script itself uses the Smarty template engine (echo correct me if I'm wrong) so it requires some basic knowledge to integrate a template to your home page. I am using the script with 6000 hosted forums and more than 30 000 unique visitors/day and it's running smoothly with a few exceptions but t...

[FEATURE] Mails export
Hello.
I'd like to send my users customized HTML e-mails. So I guess I'd like to have the opportunity to export all the forum owners' e-mail addresses to a .txt file or something like that.

Hi! The requirements are clearly stated on several places in the website. There is a remote possibility for you to be able to run it on a hostgator shared account, you need to buy a unique IP address for your website and to ask hostgator to activate wildcard dns for you. However, I strongly recommen...
