Hosting and Templates

Post by mystiqueoflife » Sat Feb 28, 2009 10:26 pm

I'm wondering if you require a dedicated server to run this software, or can it run under a hosting account, say like HostGator.Com for $7 a month in a shared environment?

Where do people host this software and what is the tanking point under a general hosting account (10,000 forums?) before a dedicated server is required?

Also can anyone create templates and easily plug them in to be used?

Thanks for the help, its appreciated.

The requirements are clearly stated on several places in the website.
There is a remote possibility for you to be able to run it on a hostgator shared account, you need to buy a unique IP address for your website and to ask hostgator to activate wildcard dns for you.

However, I strongly recommend you to use AT LEAST a VPS hosting.
