Support for PLESK?

Hi,

My server uses Plesk to administer the Apache configuration.

Is echoPHP compatible with it?

My fear is that all newly registered sub domains get erased by Plesk.

Thanks.

Hello,

The script works on any platforms which run PHP so it works with Plesk. However, to avoid Plesk reset Apache configuration, you please setup wildcard subdomain as introduced at http://www.echophp.com/README.v3.html#install. If you get any troubles with Plesk, we can assist you.

Hope it helps. Feel free to contact us if you have any questions.

Thank you.

Thank you.

When using Plesk, keep in mind several things.
The script has some troubles with detecting the real numbers of forums hosted on a certain database. Besides, Plesk has some troubles with the database management because it allows you to have only one database per user and echoPHP doesn't support multiple DB users.

If you somehow manage to add Plesk databases manually (plenty of info on the web) to a user, you should have almost no problems.

I've been waiting for ages to submit a ticket for this but my license is currently expired until I have some spare money to spend to renew it :/
