Templates for pages, eg. home.php, signup.php, etc.

I'm using echoPHP phpBB MultiForums v3.0.0 RC4.
I logged into /mf_admin/ and went to Styles > Manage Templates > Wrapper
And put in some code to update the wrapper with my webpage appearance.
It doesn't hold. Instead I continue to see the default install appearance.
I then read some articles from 2007 about using mf_temp/wrapper.html (which didn't exist, so I created the file) and am still not seeing anything but the default appearance for pages like home.php, signup.php, etc.
Any ideas? Help is appreciated. Thanks.
