how can i have the description from every category (eg http://yourphpbb.com/category-13-others.html) as meta descripton or how can i add different meta descriptions myself for every category? because now every category has the same metadescription as the homepage. and also enter different keywords. regards alegria |

When will people understand that meta description should be treated as an Ad/Sales Copy and not another place to stuff keywords. Off course keywords are important but a well written description can both be compelling and keyword rich. |

Meta keywords are not processed by the main search engines in any way. This includes Google, Yahoo!, Bing, Yandex.ru, and Ask.com. So it's safe to remove them completely. Meta descriptions also don't take any part in the search engine optimization process, however most users read them in the search engine results page to decide whether or not a certain website is suitable for them. So it's good to have an option to edit them, however this is more of a social engineering playground than search engine optimization. |
