Echophp MultiForums 3.0 for phpBB3 RC4 coming next week

Post by echo »

Dear Beautiful Users,

We will release echoPHP phpBB MultiForums script version 3.0 Beta 1 next week using RC 4 release of phpBB3 (Olympus). Currently this beta version is the same as echoPHP MF v2.0 but faster and has more functions. We will include many new features and update RC5 for it on Beta 2.

Please don't hesitate to ask questions about this leapfrog release.

Echo

The beta version is same as echoPHP MF v2. It will have full new features when it will be final. Then, all clients are able to upgrade their MFs and forums.

Thanks.

When you say "Then" do you mean that when you release this in a few days we are able to upgrade all forums to phpBB3?

I was meant when it will be final. However, we can make it sooner. We are trying our best to complete it. Thanks.

Hello,

Sorry for this delay, we are having trouble with email function and the new template of echophp.com. We are trying to release it this week.

Thanks.

SO,
With the website 'failure' (read: poor backups, poor administration), where does that leave this?

What has been done on phpbb3, when can we expect a full release? Soon doesn't cut it now, you've been promising a non beta (or at least another beta update) release for weeks to fix silly errors on your part.

We are adding more servers. Do you like our beta release? If you like it then we will release it. If you don't like it then we will work harder to make you like it.

That doesn't answer the question asked at all.
Beta is beta, for obvious reasons, including the ones that I've mentioned previously which were supposedly fixed.

Now, since we've lost all data, because of your poor administration, we're back to square one again, apparently. Nothing shows up under the client area past 2.05

Come on now, this is just ridiculous! Yes, these things happen, but no backups? That's beyond ridiculous, that's just flat out incompetence.

So, let me guess, you expect clients to seriously sit and wait months on end for you to pu t together something that is stable? You're already way overdue here! phpbb3 was stable over a month ago, get with the program here. Stop using delays as an excuse!

Sheesh, dude. Can you stop the flaming already? We all want updates and things to work smoohtly but you don't see any other clients flaming the devs here do you? Can't you ask questions in a more polite way?

Yeah, so the dataloss of the site was bad but that doesn't mean everything is back to square one? you're jumping to conclusions.
